Sean and I have come to realize that we were never made for the formal lifestyle of 9-5. What makes us thrive, is we have chosen to live life first, and let work happen around it. Instead of cramming our work before our lives, we let our work flow out of our lives. So much of what we do is based off being able to capture and inspire people's stories. That demands we stay inspired ourselves, and that we are in touch with what we feel and sense. I strongly believe that in order to tell good stories, you have to live a good story first.

We both have wasted to much of our lives chasing jobs only for the jobs to consume our lives with a empty trail of life missed out on. Life is a grand adventure, and when you live into your story, great stories come from those moments. Often times the reason we find ourselves in creative desserts is the simple reason that we have stopped living life, and have run out of experiences to draw upon. Experience is the food for the creative soul, so we try to live our lives first in a way that creates new thoughts, new ideas, and new stories that will shape the next project we work on. Too many times we put our identity in our work, instead of our identity in who we are not what we do. When we allow our lives to experience the freedom of expression, we are able to create out of a deeper more honest place. A place of conviction and power. So put down that work, and go live your life.
