Part of running our own company means our choices aren’t influenced by what others want, but by our own choices. One of those choices is who we choose to work with. Outside of Colorist we have had to work with too many people who think they rule the world like little gods. We value what we do too much to let it get wasted on people who can’t be decent humans to each other. We have had the incredible opportunity to work with not only talented individuals, but also incredible human beings. Colorist Creative would not exist if it were not for both the crew and clients who have shaped the path we have taken. Individuals who have believed not in just what we do but who we are, and given us the greatest gift of all  - their trust.

This is Erik. He's been on most of our shoots, always ready with a hand to help and a laugh to give. 

People like Erik Hernandez, Bryan Morgan, Wes Pratt, Bryant Callahan, Bethany Harris, and so many others who believed in us when we were nobody. Even those who have hired us - they took a chance on us and without each of these people we would not be here. Weather that was letting us use equipment, to brining us work, to supporting us as human beings, they have been there every step of the way. Our success is built on the sacrifices of others who paved the way for us to take great risks. 

Don’t “network”, be awesome real human beings and care about each others lives, and meaningful work will flow naturally out of those relationships. Believe in others when no one does, just as others do for you.

The moral of the story is find f***ing awesome people and keep them close. Life is too incredible to be miserable. Be awesome, and awesome people will find you.
