A DIFFERENT KIND OF BUSINESS

Often we don’t realize how much we force ourselves to do what works best for someone else. We grow up learning from those we look up to or admire, and in the process we come to believe that we in turn have to do everything the way they do.

One of the most satisfying and freeing truths we have come to realize as a company is that we don’t have to be like other creative companies. We get to live our lives the way we were made, and not be pigeon holed into what someone else wants. So what is that? What have we come to see as the core values of who we are as Colorist Creative? Glad I asked, let me tell you.

Colorist Creative Value 1.)  BUILD A FRIENDSHIP, NOT A COMPANY.

5 years ago Sean and I stumbled into each other accidentally, shortly later he was placed into my class group as a new student. That moment sealed our fate, because ever since then we have been chasing after life with an unquenchable thirst for adventure and storytelling. Colorist Creative is just a name, or a container, not the company itself. Colorist Creative existed long before we had a name or clients, it existed the moment Sean and I chose into becoming brothers to each other. Everything we have done and do, is built off the core of who we are as friends. Our friendship will always come first, which means working with people we love trumps doing what you love. You can do what you love with miserable people who rob love out of your experience. I strongly believe that because we put relationships first, we create an environment where creativity thrives and ideas come alive.
